Paneer Masala

 Prep Time: 30 Mins
 Cook Time: 15 Mins
Ingredients:
  • Paneer (cottage cheese) 500 gms
  • Tomatoes 3 medium
  • Capsicum 3 medium
  • Peas (boiled) 1 cup
  • Onion 2 medium
  • Ginger-garlic paste 1.5 tbsp
  • Red chili powder (crushed) to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Green coriander as required
  • Oil for cooking

Cooking Directions:

  • Cut paneer in cubes and fry them lightly in a little oil till slightly golden.
  • Cut onions, tomatoes and capsicum in thick strips.
  • Heat oil in a wok.
  • Add cumin seeds to it.
  • When they start crackling add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a few seconds.
  • Add onion, capsicum and peas to it.
  • Saute for one minute and then add paneer.
  • Saute for few seconds and then add tomatoes, salt and crushed chilies.
  • Saute for two to three minutes.
  • Pour it in a dish and garnish with sliced ginger Julienne and chopped green coriander.
  • Enjoy it with lightly toasted buttered buns.
  • You can also use cauliflower, carrots, potatoes and other vegetables of your choice for this recipe.
